Candle care and the importance of CLP
Before purchasing any candles or wax products always make sure they have clear and up to date CLP labelling, CLP is extremely important as it tells you exactly what’s inside the products you are burning.
To prevent fire and serious injury, Burn candle within sight. Keep away from draughts and vibrations. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Never burn on or near anything that can catch fire. ( for example, next to curtains, under a wall mounted tv or on a flammable surface etc )Trim wick to 5mm before lighting. Keep candle free of any foreign materials including matches and wick trimmings. Only burn the candle on a level, fire resistant surface. Do not burn the candle for more than 4 hours at a time.
When your candle is nearing the bottom of the jar or container it can become very hot, we advise to never burn your candle all the way to the end and throw away when there is around 5mm of wax remaining to prevent overheating.
